Temporary Storage Facility Clause Samples
The Temporary Storage Facility clause defines the terms under which goods or materials may be stored at a designated location for a limited period. Typically, this clause outlines the responsibilities for maintaining the facility, the duration of storage, and any associated costs or liabilities, such as who bears the risk of loss or damage during storage. Its core function is to provide clear guidelines for both parties regarding the handling and safeguarding of items before they are moved to their final destination, thereby minimizing disputes and ensuring accountability during the interim storage period.
Temporary Storage Facility. Routine surveillance of the TSF ensures that maintenance and radiological controls that govern access to and the placement, storage, and transfer of contaminated material in the TSF are current and effective. Surveillance results for this quarter (see surveillance checklists in Appendix A) are as follows: • The TSF is in good shape and no correction items were identified. LM is required to initiate the transfer of TSF materials for permanent disposal at the Grand Junction, Colorado, Disposal Site when the contents reach approximately 75 cubic yards. The following summarizes recent TSF activity: • The volume of waste stored in the TSF is approximately 1.5 cubic yards.
Temporary Storage Facility. The parties acknowledge that on-site structural painting or other work by Caltrans at the Primary Storage Facility may require that Contractor relocate—temporarily or for the remainder of the Agreement’s term—all or part of Contractor’s towing- and storage-related operations to one or a Temporary Storage Facilities. In such case, Contractor agrees to (i) execute with the City a license agreement for the Temporary Storage Facility, which shall have terms and conditions substantially similar to the 2650 Bayshore License and 7th Street License; and (ii) relocate all or part of Contractor’s towing- and storage-related operations in accordance with a task order the City issues under Section 4.1.2, the terms of which ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ agrees to negotiate with the City in good faith.

Routine surveillance of the TSF ensures that maintenance and radiological controls that govern access to and placement, storage, and transfer of contaminated material in the TSF are current and effective. Surveillance results for this quarter are: • No anomalous conditions were observed for the TSF (see the surveillance checklist attached for this quarter in Appendix A). A small quantity of material (less than 1 cubic yard) generated from the piping replacement work in the groundwater transfer building was placed in the TSF during the quarter. The inventory of contaminated material in the TSF is approximately 22 cubic yards. Approximately 3 cubic yards of the contaminated material derives from street and utility excavations. Radiologically contaminated material from supplemental standards properties has not been placed in the TSF since 2011.The remaining inventory derives from previous maintenance and repairs to Pond 4 and the groundwater transfer building. LM initiates the transfer of TSF materials for permanent disposal at the LM Grand Junction, Colorado, Disposal Site when the contents reach 75 cubic yards. TSF materials were last transferred to the Grand Junction disposal site in June 2010. Transfer of material from the TSF to the Grand Junction disposal site is scheduled for
