TEMPORARY or PERMANENT STRUCTURES Clause Samples
The TEMPORARY or PERMANENT STRUCTURES clause defines the requirements and responsibilities related to the construction, use, and removal of both temporary and permanent structures on a project site. It typically outlines which party is responsible for providing, maintaining, and dismantling temporary structures such as scaffolding, site offices, or protective barriers, as well as the standards for constructing permanent structures that will remain after project completion. This clause ensures that all structures used during the project meet safety and quality standards, and clarifies who bears the associated costs and liabilities, thereby preventing disputes and ensuring smooth project execution.
TEMPORARY or PERMANENT STRUCTURES. Placement of temporary structures (tents, booths, coke wagon, etc.) must be approved in writing by the Director of Recreation or designee. Any request for placement of permanent structures (field lights, press box, dug outs, etc.) must be submitted in writing to the Director of Recreation to review for code compliance and referral to Council for final approval. Permanent improvements shall be deemed owned by City without compensation to Permittee.
