Technology Specific Requirements Clause Samples

The Technology Specific Requirements clause outlines particular standards, specifications, or obligations that apply to the use, development, or integration of certain technologies within an agreement. This clause may detail requirements such as compatibility with designated software platforms, adherence to cybersecurity protocols, or compliance with industry-specific technical standards. By clearly defining these expectations, the clause ensures that all parties understand the technical benchmarks that must be met, thereby reducing the risk of misunderstandings and ensuring the delivered technology meets the agreed-upon criteria.
Technology Specific Requirements. (a) [RESERVED]. (b) [RESERVED].
Technology Specific Requirements. (a) [RESERVED] (b) [RESERVED] Inverter Systems. Direct current generators and non-power (i.e., other than 60 Hertz) alternating current generators can only be installed in parallel with the Company System using a non-islanding synchronous inverter unless alternate designs are approved by the Company. The design shall comply with the requirements of IEEE Std 1547-2003 (or latest version), except as described in Section 3 (Performance Standards) of this Attachment B (Facility Owned by Seller). Self-commutated inverters of the Company-interactive type shall synchronize to the Company System. Line-commutated, thyristor-based inverters are not recommended and will require additional technical study to determine harmonic and reactive power requirements. All interconnected inverter systems shall comply with the harmonic current limits of IEEE Std 519-1992 (or latest version).
Technology Specific Requirements. (a) Reserved.
Technology Specific Requirements. 5.2.1 Different technologies may require unique designs for the operation of the generator. If the standards do not address the interconnection requirements for a particular generating facility or technology, JPS and the QE shall agree upon other requirements.
