Technology penetration. The IBA committees should mainly contribute to this part of the Roadmap. This part should demonstrate important applications of Smart Adaptive Systems that are already established in the market as well as innovative ones recently appearing but with great potential. Special care should be given in the part of the Roadmap describing applications that have impact in everyday life problems as described in actions of the VFP. Also, an important issue is to describe open problems seeking solutions and thus guide theoreticians towards this direction.
