Common use of Tax Declaration Clause in Contracts

Tax Declaration. to a holder (or to a third party on behalf of a holder) who would not be liable for or subject to such withholding or deduction by making a declaration of identity, non-residence or other similar claim for exemption to the relevant tax authority if, after having been requested to make such declaration or claim, such holder fails to do so within any applicable period prescribed by such relevant tax authority. References in these Conditions to principal and interest shall be deemed also to refer to any Additional Tax Amounts which may be payable under this Condition 9 or any undertaking or covenant given in addition thereto or in substitution therefor pursuant to the Trust Deed.
