The 'Target environment' clause defines the specific technical or operational setting in which a product, service, or software must function. It typically outlines the hardware, software, network configurations, or other environmental factors required for proper operation, such as specifying compatible operating systems or required server specifications. By clearly establishing these parameters, the clause ensures that both parties understand the necessary conditions for successful deployment and helps prevent disputes over compatibility or performance issues.
Target environment. Each party shall (as applicable) provide the Target Environment as set out in the Contract.
Target environment. The Product will generate applications for the IBM AS/400, using its native RDBMS facilities. Interactive applications may be generated in both NPT and PWS mode. PWS application clients will be personal computers running DOS and Microsoft Windows Version 3.1 or higher, or OS/2 Version 2 or higher using the WIN-OS/2 environment.
