Common use of Tail Coverage Clause in Contracts

Tail Coverage. If Contractor obtains one or more claims-made insurance policies to fulfill its obligations, Contractor will: (1) maintain coverage with the same company during the term of this Agreement and for at least three (3) years following termination of this Agreement; or (2) purchase or provide coverage that assures protection against claims based on acts or omissions that occur during the period of this Agreement which are asserted after the claims-made insurance policy expired.

Tail Coverage. If Contractor obtains one or more claims-made insurance policies to fulfill its obligations, Contractor will: (1i) maintain coverage with the same company during the term of this Agreement and for at least three (3) years following termination of this Agreement; or (2ii) purchase or provide coverage that assures protection against claims based on acts or omissions that occur during the period of this Agreement which are asserted after the claims-made insurance policy expired.

If Subject to Exhibit B, if Contractor obtains one or more claims-made insurance policies to fulfill its obligations, Contractor will: (1i) maintain coverage with the same company during the term of this Agreement and for at least three (3) years following termination of this Agreement; or (2ii) purchase or provide coverage that assures protection against claims based on acts or omissions that occur during the period of this Agreement which are asserted after the claims-made insurance policy expired.
