Common use of Sustainability Framework Clause in Contracts

Sustainability Framework. A Sustainability Framework will be created and integrated into the other Plan Update chapters to provide a foundation for sustainability policies, initiatives, and program development. To be effective, sustainable planning principles should be intrinsic within each and every component of a comprehensive plan, including land use, housing, economic development, community facilities, transportation networks, parking, transit, parks and open space, and implementation. The Sustainability Framework will include policies and recommendations for a coordinated and consistent approach to incorporating sustainable practices into the plan, including policies to guide future City decision-making and implementation initiatives.
