Common use of Survival and Severance Clause in Contracts

Survival and Severance. Clauses 4, 5, 9, 11, 13, 14, 15 and this clause 16 shall continue in full force and effect following the termination or expiry of this Purchase Order for any reason. If any provision of this Purchase Order or any part thereof is determined to void or unenforceable by any court or body of competent jurisdiction or by virtue of any legislation to which it is subject or by virtue of any other reason whatsoever, it will be void or unenforceable to that extent only and the validity and enforceability of any of the other provisions or the remainder of any such provision will not be affected.
