Surrender and Inspection Sample Clauses
The Surrender and Inspection clause outlines the tenant's obligation to return the leased property to the landlord at the end of the lease term and allows the landlord to inspect the premises. Typically, this clause requires the tenant to vacate the property in good condition, accounting for normal wear and tear, and grants the landlord the right to assess the property's state before accepting its return. Its core practical function is to ensure the property is maintained and returned in an acceptable condition, thereby protecting the landlord's interests and clarifying the tenant's responsibilities at lease termination.
