Common use of Supplier Technical Data Clause in Contracts

Supplier Technical Data. 7.1 For supplier-manufactured programmed airborne avionics components and equipment classified as Seller Furnished Equipment (SFE) which contain computer software designed and developed in accordance with Radio Technical Commission for Aeronautics Document No. RTCA/DO-178B dated December 1, 1992 (with an errata issued on March 26, 1999), or later as available, Boeing will request that each supplier of the components and equipment make software documentation available to Customer. 7.2 The provisions of this Article will not be applicable to items of BFE. 7.3 Prior to the scheduled delivery month of the first Aircraft, Boeing will furnish to Customer copies of the documents which identify the terms and conditions of the product support agreements between Boeing and its suppliers Product Support and Assurance Agreements (PSAA).
