Supplementary Task Orders Clause Samples
The Supplementary Task Orders clause establishes a mechanism for adding new, specific tasks to an existing contract without renegotiating the entire agreement. In practice, this clause allows the parties to issue written orders that define additional work, set deadlines, and specify compensation for each new task. This approach streamlines the process of expanding the scope of work, ensuring flexibility and efficiency while maintaining clear documentation and mutual agreement on any extra services required.
Supplementary Task Orders. In the event of any changes to the Task Order, the Commissioner shall issue a Supplementary Task Order to the Engineer. The Engineer shall be bound by the terms and conditions of any such Supplementary Task Order issued by the Commissioner.
Supplementary Task Orders. In the event of any changes to the Task Order, the Commissioner shall issue a Supplementary Task Order to the Consultant. The Consultant shall be bound by the terms and conditions of any such Supplementary Task Order issued by the Commissioner. The Commissioner reserves the right to issue a Supplementary Task Order to the Consultant, even if the revised estimated construction cost is greater than the category of requirements contract held by the Consultant (e.g., the Consultant is in the “Small” category and the revised estimate would otherwise place the Project in the “Medium” category, etc.), if the Commissioner determines, in their sole discretion, that it is in the best interest of the City to do so.
