Common use of Supervision for Emergencies Clause in Contracts

Supervision for Emergencies. Contractor shall have a responsible person available at or reasonably near the work site on a twenty-four (24) hour basis, seven (7) days a week, in order that he may be contacted in emergencies and in cases where immediate action must be taken to maintain traffic or to handle any other problem that might arise. Contractor’s responsible person for supervision for emergencies shall speak and understand English. Contractor shall submit to the Engineer, by certified mail, phone numbers and names of personnel designated to be contacted in cases of emergencies along with a description of the project location to the Florida Highway Patrol and all other local law enforcement agencies.
