Qualifications Profile: Completion of standard grade school course, high school diploma preferred. Ability to read, understand and interpret blueprints and construction grades required. Thorough knowledge of rough and skilled masonry. Must provide own set of masonry tools to perform routine tasks. Some knowledge and experience of a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled manual maintenance and construction tasks. Ability to understand and follow simple oral or written instructions; willingness to perform heavy manual work for an extended period under varying climatic conditions; excellent physical condition; knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions; ability to get along with other workers, supervisors and general-public; thoroughness and dependability in performing assignments expected. License or Certificate: Ability to obtain and maintain Connecticut/CDL Class B Motor Vehicle Operator’s license within thirty

TBC Role Purpose: To provide a range of complementary therapies to service users Location Sheffield Hours / days pw Minimum of weekly 2 hour sessions ROLE PROFILE Administer Complementary Therapies Liase with staff to identify appropriate service users for therapies Assist staff in positively promoting complementary therapies to service users and explaining benefits they are likely to receive from doing so. Commit to regular sessions and encourage regular attendance by service users Administer therapies as qualified, including, but not limited to Reiki, Acupuncture, Indian Head Massage (Reiki practitioners must hold Reiki Level 2/Master qualification. All other therapists must hold an accredited qualification in their field; Acupuncturists must obtain a practice licence from Local Authority. Support can be provided by the relevant Volunteer Coordinator or the Central Services Officer if required) Work with staff to ensure all appropriate paperwork (i.e. disclaimers) is completed by service users before treatment Ensure suitable and sufficient risk assessments are carried out prior to commencing each session.
