Superintendent designee. If the grievance is not satisfactorily settled after Step 1, the grievance shall be transmitted by the employee/Association to the Superintendent/designee within ten (10) working days after the completion of Step 1. Within ten (10) working days, the Superintendent/designee shall meet with the Association representative on the grievance and shall indicate his/her disposition of the grievance in writing within ten (10) working days of such meeting and shall furnish a copy thereof to the grievant and/or Association.
Superintendent designee. Each year the Superintendent will inform the Association in writing of the name of the individual he/she has designated to serve as chief District negotiator responsible for agreement administration and District-Association liaison discussions. (Article 1.11)
1. 1N Hourly rate(s): Shall refer to the current negotiated hourly rate(s) for participation and for instructional services which are utilized in making supplemental contract payments. Such rates are stipulated in Appendix C – Certificated Teaching Salary Rates.

If the grievance is not resolved with the disposition at step two, the grievant may file an appeal with the superintendent within five (5) days from receiving the step two responses. The grievance will be delivered to the Director of Human Resources by certified mail or hand delivered and time stamped.
b. The Superintendent/designee will set up a meeting with the grievant (C-FUSE) to attempt to resolve the grievance. Either side may offer witness testimony pertinent to the settlement of the grievance. The Superintendent/designee will meet to hear the grievance within five (5) days following the submission of the grievance.
c. A decision will be rendered in writing within five (5) days after the meeting.
