SUMMER ENRICHMENT PROGRAM Clause Samples
SUMMER ENRICHMENT PROGRAM. A four to six week summer enrichment program may be offered for grades K-8 on a year to year basis based on enrollment numbers. The program will be a mixture of academic subjects and elective classes that focus on hands-on learning. Classes are limited to 20 students and will be filled on a first come, first served basis. The program is available to all St. Pius X students as well as students from other schools. Those not registered in a Catholic school in the Archdiocese of the Los Angeles must provide proof of immunization.
SUMMER ENRICHMENT PROGRAM. Teachers who are employed to work in the Summer Enrichment Program shall be compensated at the rate of $325.00 per week.
SUMMER ENRICHMENT PROGRAM. A. Purposes for which Summer Enrichment Program may be granted:
1. At a university or college to increase knowledge and/or enrich the background in a teacher’s academic or related areas.
2. Participation in local, state or national programs, workshops, seminars or curriculum development. This will include such programs as those sponsored by or under the auspices of the National Science Foundation or the National Defense Act.
B. Participants
1. Permanently certified personnel will be eligible for programs de scribed in A. 1 and 2. Provisionally certified or uncertified personnel will be eligible for non-credit programs as described in A. 2.
C. Payment for Summer Enrichment Program
1. Compensation shall be at a rate of $30 per hour in 2003-04, $32 per hour in 2004-05, and $34 per hour in 2005-06.
2. A teacher compensated under the above must serve the following year at the Roscoe Central School, or return, within 30 days after resig nation, the stipend paid.
D. Selection of Participants
1. Participants will be selected and recommended by the Superinten dent to the Board of Education for approval.
