Subsurface Utilities. 3.18.1 Owner will comply with NMSA 1978, Chapter 62, Article 14 (the New Mexico Excavation Law) by performing utility spotting activities or by employing a qualified utility spotting company, or both. The Owner will provide the latest and best underground utility information available regarding the campus in the form of Utility Mapping Drawings. In addition, the ▇▇▇▇ Contractor shall perform utility spotting work. The ▇▇▇▇ Contractor shall locate, spot and find all utilities within the project boundaries or affected by the project. The ▇▇▇▇ Contractor shall repair any and all damaged utilities caused by excavation and spotting activities. Costs for this work shall be included in the Contract Price. Subsurface Utilities. Where appropriate, the Consultant shall have existing underground utilities, such as electric power, telephone/data/security systems (fiber and copper pathways), cable TV, gas, fuel, water, sewer, irrigation, and others, identified and marked by the owner or by a local utility locator service, if available, prior to commencement of work.
Subsurface Utilities. Any and all subsurface utilities (water, sewer, cable, irrigation, power, telephone, etc.) are to be located by the OWNER prior to FLPM site work. OWNER assumes all responsibility for any accidental damage that occurs if the locations of utilities are not clearly and accurately marked prior to commencement of work.
