Substitute Dividend Payments. When income is paid in relation to any securities sold short on, or by reference to, an “ex-date” on which such short position remains open, XX Xxxxxx shall debit a sum of money or property from your account equivalent to the amount necessary to enable XX Xxxxxx to make the equivalent payment to its lender in relation to the applicable securities loan, together with such additional amounts as may be agreed by you and XX Xxxxxx.
