Submitting a Transfer Request. Any employee interested in a transfer for the following school year will submit their name and preferred school(s), program(s), and/or assignment(s) to the District no later than March 1 each school year. Such requests shall be considered valid through September 30 of the following school year. Any employee who indicates an interest in voluntary transfer through this process will be considered and offered an interview for any subsequent vacancy that meets the terms of the transfer request and for which the employee is qualified without additional application requirements. An employee whose verified endorsements satisfy the requirements of the position into which the employee wishes to transfer will be considered qualified for purposes of this provision. Employees are encouraged to update resumes and/or transcripts at any time.
