Subletting Allowed Sample Clauses

The 'Subletting Allowed' clause permits a tenant to rent out all or part of the leased property to another party, known as a subtenant. Typically, this clause outlines any conditions or approvals required from the landlord before subletting can occur, such as providing notice or ensuring the subtenant meets certain qualifications. Its core function is to provide flexibility for tenants who may need to vacate the premises temporarily or permanently, while also protecting the landlord’s interests by maintaining oversight over who occupies the property.
