Common use of Subcontractor and Assignment Clause in Contracts

Subcontractor and Assignment. A. Services under this Contract are deemed to be personal services. B. Contractor shall not subcontract any work under this Contract nor assign this Contract or monies due without the prior written consent of SolTrans’ Contract Manager, subject to any required state or federal approval. C. If SolTrans consents to the use of Subcontractors, Contractor shall require and verify that its subcontractors maintain insurance meeting all the requirements stated in Section 11 above. D. Assignment by Contractor of any monies due shall not constitute an assignment of the Contract.
