Common use of SUBCONTRACT AMOUNT Clause in Contracts

SUBCONTRACT AMOUNT. The Contractor agrees to pay the Subcontractor for the performance of its work hereunder the following sum or sums, which shall unless otherwise specified, include all taxes, insurance premiums, charges for permits and all other fees and charges, and shall be firm and binding on the Subcontractor for the work and not conditioned upon a firm completion date or on any labor increases or material escalation costs which might occur during the course of construction: Percentage fees for overhead and profit for extra work, subject to the provisions of Article 6 hereof, shall be: % for work performed by Subcontractor’s own forces and % for work performed by its subcontractors and suppliers.
