Sub-lease Addendum Sample Clauses
A Sub-lease Addendum is a contractual provision that formally permits a tenant to lease all or part of the rented premises to another party, known as the sub-tenant, under specified conditions. This addendum typically outlines the requirements for obtaining landlord approval, the responsibilities of the original tenant, and the terms that must be met by the sub-tenant, such as rent payments and adherence to the original lease. Its core practical function is to provide a clear framework for sub-leasing arrangements, ensuring all parties understand their rights and obligations, and to prevent disputes related to unauthorized occupancy or misuse of the property.
