Style Violations. The Government recognizes that it is not always practicable to produce software code that complies with any style guidelines, in every instance. For instances where it is detrimental to comply with these style guidelines, the contactor shall, in writing, document each style violation and describe the reason why complying with the style guideline would be detrimental. The contractor shall not use generic or repetitive explanations.
