Common use of Study Leave Without Pay Clause in Contracts

Study Leave Without Pay. No deduction is made from the holiday pay of teachers for study leave without pay for periods not exceeding three months in any one year. If the period exceeds three months, the holiday pay deduction is based on the whole period of leave. The leave must be for study for qualifications recognised by the Ministry as of value to teaching.
