The Student Qualifications clause defines the minimum standards or criteria that a student must meet to participate in a particular program, course, or activity. Student Qualifications. All students who have been designated as an “School Psychology Intern or candidate ” by University are eligible to apply for clinical placement at the School District/Agency. The students will be expected to apply according to the School District/Agency’s process and procedures. The School District/Agency may select appropriate students for their training programs through its own application and selection process. a. Students will be expected to adhere to the School District/Agency’s administrative, confidentiality, conflict of interest, code of conduct, operational, and clinical policies and procedures. b. An School District/Agency that charges training/supervision fees are required to inform students during the application process. c. Students will be required to procure and maintain in force during the term of student(s)’ fieldwork placement, at the student(s)’ sole cost and expense, professional and personal liability insurance coverage to protect the student against liability arising from any and all negligent acts or incidents caused by the student(s). Coverage under such professional and personal liability insurance shall be not less than $1,000,000 for each occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate for all Covered Parties. Evidence of such insurance will be provided by the EPC Department on behalf of the university upon request of the School District/Agency.

The students will be expected to apply according to the Agency’s process and procedures (may include telephone or in-person interview, additional fingerprinting, proof of current negative TB test). The Agency may select appropriate students for their training programs through its own application and selection process. a. Students will be expected to adhere to the Agency’s administrative, confidentiality, conflict of interest, code of conduct, operational, and board policies and administration regulations of the district. b. Students will be required to show verification of a current Certificate of Clearance issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing to the Agency. c. Students will be required to procure and maintain in force during the term of student(s)’ fieldwork placement, at the student(s)’ sole cost and expense, professional and personal liability insurance coverage to protect the student against liability arising from any and all negligent acts or incidents caused by the student(s). Coverage under such professional and personal liability insurance shall be not less than $1,000,000 for each occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate for all Covered Parties.
Student Qualifications. Institution shall provide appropriate health and safety training to all students on a regular basis, in accordance with prevailing Federal and State laws and regulations. Institution shall require that each student designated by Institution for clinical and/or practicum experience under this Agreement shall meet the minimum qualifications for a student in the designated Program. Additionally, Institution shall ensure that: (i) all students have documented training to meet OSHA Regulations on occupational Exposure to Blood-borne Pathogens prior to the beginning of the internship experience; and (ii) each student assigned to the COUNTY meet the COUNTY’s requirements, see Exhibit A. Where Institution maintains any and all records of such testing, such records shall be made available to COUNTY upon request.
Student Qualifications. (*ISD) will pre-approve students for taking dual credit courses and ensure that each student meets the requirements as defined in the Texas Administrative Code for Education (Part 1, Chapter 4, Subchapter D, Rule 4.85). If necessary, written approval by the high school principal and Cisco’s Chief Academic Officer may be required for a student to enroll in a dual credit class. Each student must also meet the Cisco admissions requirements and course prerequisites prior to the first day of classes.
