STRUCTURE CONCRETE. With the exception of the precast concrete boardwalk pedestrian bridge, STRUCTURE CONCRETE shall conform to the provisions in STANDARD PLAN 1803, the provisions in Subsection 303-1, “CONCRETE STRUCTURES,” of the STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS and these Special Provisions. During placement of STRUCTURE CONCRETE, the concrete temperature must be between 50 degrees and 90 degrees Fahrenheit. If an admixture is used to retard concrete set time, the temperature shall not exceed 85 degrees Fahrenheit.
