STRIKE AUTHORIZATION Sample Clauses
The Strike Authorization clause grants a union or group of employees the formal right to approve or initiate a strike action, typically through a voting process. In practice, this clause outlines the procedures for conducting a strike vote, specifies the required majority for approval, and may set conditions or notice periods before a strike can legally occur. Its core function is to ensure that any decision to strike is democratically sanctioned by the affected workers, thereby providing legitimacy to collective action and helping to prevent unauthorized or spontaneous work stoppages.
