Street Intersections Sample Clauses

Street Intersections. (a) Streets shall intersect each other at as nearly right angles as topography and other limiting factors of good design permit. (b) The number of streets converging at one intersection shall not be more than two. (c) The number of intersections along major streets and highways shall be held to a minimum. Wherever practicable the distance between such intersections shall not be less than 1,200 feet. (d) Property lines at street intersections shall be rounded with a minimum radius of 15 feet, except that at all intersections along collector and arterial streets the radius shall be increased to 25 feet. The Plan Commission may require a larger radius where desirable. (e) Local streets shall not necessarily continue across arterial or collector streets, but if the center lines of such minor streets approach the major streets from opposite sides within 150 feet of each other, measured along the center line of the arterial or collector street, then the location shall be so adjusted that the adjoinment across the major or collector street is continuous and a jog is avoided. (f) Radii at the face of curbs at intersections shall be a minimum of 20 feet.
Street Intersections. (a) Streets shall intersect each other at as nearly right angles as topography and other limiting factors of good design permit. (b) The number of streets converging at one intersection shall not be more than two (2). (c) The number of intersections along major streets and highways shall be held to a minimum. Wherever possible the distance between such intersections shall not be less than one thousand two hundred (1,200) feet. (d) Property lines at street intersections shall be rounded with a minimum radius of fifteen (15) feet, except that at all intersections along collector and arterial streets the radius shall be increased to twenty-five (25) feet. The Village Board may require a larger radius where desirable. (e) Local streets shall not necessarily continue across arterial or collector streets, but if the center lines of such minor streets approach the major streets from opposite sides within one hundred fifty (150) feet of each other, measured along the center line of the arterial or collector street, then the location shall be so adjusted that the adjoinment across the major or collector street is continuous and a jog is avoided. (f) Radii at the face of curbs at intersections shall be a minimum of twenty-five (25) feet.
Street Intersections a. Street intersections shall be spaced in accordance with the standards in Table 5.8.6.D.35.8.6.E.3, Street Intersection Spacing. Unified Development Ordinance Page 5-61 Section 5.8. Access and Circulation 5.8.6. Vehicular Access and Circulation
Street Intersections. Streets shall intersect each other at as nearly right angles as topography and other limiting factors of good design permit. In addition: a) The number of streets converging at one (1) intersection shall be reduced to a minimum, preferably not more than two (2). b) The number of intersections along arterial streets and highways shall be held to a minimum. Whenever practicable the distance between such intersections shall not be less than 1200 feet. c) Property lines at street intersections shall be founded with a minimum radius of 15 feet or of a greater radius when required by the Village Plan Commission or shall be cut off by a straight line through the points of tangency of an arc having a radius of 15 feet. d) Land access and collector streets shall not necessarily continue across arterial streets. If the distance between the centerline intersections of any street with any other intersecting street is less than 250 feet, measured along the centerline of the intersecting street, then the location shall be so adjusted that the distance is increased or the adjoinment across the intersecting street is continuous and a jog is avoided. e) On all streets where sidewalks are required, ramps or openings to accommodate disabled individuals or vehicles shall be provided in accordance with Section. 66.0909 of Wisconsin Statutes.
Street Intersections a. Primary points of access or street intersections with centerline offsets of less than 150 feet will not be allowed unless the City finds special conditions requiring a reduction. b. Unless required by street spacing standards, intersections on curves will be avoided. c. Right-of-way and curb radii will be provided at all intersections in accordance with Chapter 4 of the d. Turning lanes and acceleration/deceleration lanes will be identified for installation as required by the City.
