STPs shall provide all functions of the MTP as defined in Bellcore ANSI Interconnection Requirements. This includes:
STPs. If BellSouth requires a mediation device on any part of its network specific to this form of access, BellSouth must route its messages in the same manner. The interconnection arrangement shall result in the BellSouth local switch recognizing the Time Warner SCP as at least at parity with BellSouth’s SCP’s in terms of interfaces, performance and capabilities.
STPs shall provide all functions of the MTP as specified in ANSI T1.111 (Reference 12.5.2). This includes:
STPs. In those instances when CCS signaling is required under this Agreement each Party is responsible for interconnecting to the other Party’s CCS network. Each Party shall connect to a pair of access STPs in each LATA where traffic will be exchanged or shall arrange for signaling connectivity through a third party provider which is connected to the other Party’s signaling network. The Parties shall establish interconnection at the STP, and other points, as necessary and as jointly agreed to by the Parties.
STPs. 7. In the event of the unit failing to fulfill the terms & conditions of Letter Of Permission (LOP) and NFE as prescribed in the STP Scheme, except when the fulfillment of such conditions is prevented or delayed because of any law & order, proclamation, regulation/ordinance of the Government or the shortfall in fulfillment of NFE is within the permissible norms specified in the monitoring guidelines of the STP Scheme given in Foreign Trade Policy, the unit would be liable for penal action under the provisions of Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 and the Rules & Orders made there under.
STPs. 10.4.3.16 Each type of interface shall be provided by one or more layers of signaling links.
STPs. 6.9.2 The Signaling Point of Interconnection for each link shall be located at a cross- connect element in the central office where the BellSouth STP is located. There shall be a DS1 or higher rate transport interface at each of the Signaling Points of interconnection. Each signaling link shall appear as a DS0 channel within the DS1 or higher rate interface.
STPs shall provide all of the technically feasible functions as supported by the type of equipment and as deployed by BA in its network of the MTP as specified in ANSI T1.111 (Reference Section 18.11 ). This may include:
STPs. NEVADA shall provide information to CLEC on the routes and signaling point codes served by NEVADA's STPs.
STPs. 3.6 Call set-up times may be adversely affected when CLEC, using SS7 signaling, employs intermediate Access Tandems in its network. NEVADA makes no warranties with respect to call set-up times when multiple STP pairs are involved or when the signaling traffic is exchanged between two non-NEVADA signaling points.
