Steel Casing Clause Samples

The Steel Casing clause defines the requirements and standards for the use of steel casing in a construction or engineering project. It typically specifies the type, grade, and dimensions of steel casing to be used, as well as installation procedures and quality control measures. For example, it may require that all steel casing be corrosion-resistant and meet certain industry certifications. The core function of this clause is to ensure the structural integrity and durability of the project by mandating appropriate materials and methods for steel casing, thereby reducing the risk of failure or costly repairs.
Steel Casing. Steel casing pipe shall be paid for at the unit price per linear foot according to the diameter and thickness of the steel casing installed and shall cover the cost for all materials, transportation, labor, equipment, excavation, sheeting and shoring, protection of existing utilities, steel casing pipe, skid, steel straps, coatings, casing spacers, end seals, boring and jacking pits, backfilling, backfill materials, disposal of unsuitable backfill material, tamping, testing, densities, dewatering, trench stabilization, clean-up, restoration, and all work and materials necessary to install the steel casing except where such items are shown to be paid for under a separate Item. The carrier pipe shall be paid from other applicable Pay Item.
Steel Casing. Steel casing pipe of the wall thickness and diameter specified shall be measured by the linear foot for each size and thickness of steel casing pipe installed. Measurement shall be horizontally above the centerline of the casing.
Steel Casing. Steel Casings are measured per linear foot (meter) for each size of casing installed. Payment is full compensation for furnishing all materials, excavating, backfilling, removing, and replacing pavement, and providing other incidentals necessary to complete the Item.
