Statutory Eligible Uses. As a recipient of an SLFRF award, your organization has substantial discretion to use the award funds in the ways that best suit the needs of your constituents – as long as such use fits into one of the following four statutory categories:

Statutory Eligible Uses. SLFRF funds must be used on a project or projects that meet one of three statutory categories, including, for purposes of the Agreement, to respond to the COVID-19 public health emergency or its negative economic impacts. Treasury adopted an Interim Final Rule in May 2021 and the Final Rule on January 6, 2022, to implement these eligible use categories and other restrictions on the use of Program Funds under the SLFRF program. The eligibility, reporting, and other requirements set forth in this Addendum are subject to review, revision, and amendment as required by Treasury in any future Congressional or Treasury rule, regulation, guidance, overview, or other initiative affecting these requirements.
