Statutory Alteration Clause Samples

A Statutory Alteration clause allows a contract to be modified automatically to comply with changes in relevant laws or regulations. In practice, this means that if a statute or regulation affecting the contract is amended, repealed, or newly enacted, the contract terms are adjusted as necessary to remain lawful and enforceable. This clause ensures that the agreement remains valid and up-to-date without requiring renegotiation, thereby reducing the risk of non-compliance and legal disputes due to changes in the law.
