State Custody Sample Clauses

The State Custody clause establishes the legal authority and procedures by which a government or state entity takes temporary or permanent control over certain property, assets, or individuals. In practice, this clause may apply to situations such as the seizure of goods for regulatory reasons, the detention of individuals for legal proceedings, or the holding of assets during investigations. Its core function is to provide a clear legal framework for state intervention, ensuring that such actions are conducted lawfully and with defined limits, thereby protecting both public interests and individual rights.
