STATE AUDIT. 12 Pursuant to Government Code Section 8546.7, CITY and COUNTY shall be 13 subject to examination and audit by the State Auditor for a period of three (3) 14 years after final payment by CITY to COUNTY under this Agreement. CITY 15 and COUNTY shall retain all records relating to the performance of this 16 Agreement for said three-year period, except that those records pertaining to 17 any audit then in progress, or to any claim or litigation, shall be retained beyond 18 said three-year period, until final resolution of said audit, claim or litigation.

STATE AUDIT. Pursuant to and in accordance with Section 8546.7 of the California Government Code, in the event that AGREEMENT involves expenditures of public funds aggregating in excess of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000), the parties shall be subject to the examination and audit of the Auditor General of the State of California for a period of three (3) years after final payment under AGREEMENT. CONTRACTOR shall maintain records for all costs connected with the performance of AGREEMENT including, but not limited to, the costs of administering the Contract, materials, labor, equipment, rentals, permits, insurance, bonds, etc., for audit or inspection by COUNTY, State, or any other appropriate governmental agency during the three (3) year period.

STATE AUDIT. The State will conduct regular audits of the Contractor’s Medically Frail assessment and confirmation process pursuant to Section 3.3.2.2, to determine appropriate identification and placement of medically frail members. The State anticipates that less than ten percent (10%) of the Contractor’s total newly eligible adult HIP population will be designated as medically frail. The Contractor shall consistently apply the Milliman Guidelines to every medically frail determination and review.
