Standing Charge Sample Clauses
Standing Charge. Our Charges for supplying the Services may include a Standing Charge. The Standing Charge that applies to you depends on whether you have agreed to pay a Daily Standing Charge as part of your Contract or, if your Premises are empty and you are not using the Services at the Premises as expected in-line with your original quote, you may be charged a Monthly Standing Charge to cover the rental of the Meter and other associated costs. If you are on a Deemed Contract, you must contact us to find out what your Standing Charge is.
8.4.1. If applicable, the Daily Standing Charge will be set out in the Commercial Schedule.
8.4.2. If a Monthly Standing Charge applies, we will notify you of the price you need to pay once you tell us that you won’t be using the Services at the Premises e.g. you have notified us that the Premises are going to be empty, or we become aware that you won’t be using Services or that you have stopped using the Services at the Premises for any period of time. You must tell us when you start using the Services again. If you do not wish to pay a Monthly Standing Charge, you may have the meter removed at your cost but please note that this will mean that you will no longer be connected to receive electricity at the Premises. You may also move to an alternative supplier who may not charge you a Monthly Standing Charge
