STANDARD STREET TYPE LAMPPOST. Standard street type lamppost shall include but not be limited to the following: Aluminum (#10, Round), Fabricated steel (FS), (Octagonal, Square, Round), Fiberglass…etc. If the entire lamppost is to be replaced, all appurtenant equipment in good condition shall be transferred to the new lamppost and the new lamppost shall be painted to height of 7 feet with non-conductive paint (at no additional cost). All damaged, missing, defective or deteriorated equipment shall be replaced. All damaged or obsolete parts shall become property of the Contractor unless otherwise directed. On highways and limited access roadways, lamppost shall be aluminum. All missing or illegible number tag shall be replaced. Lampposts leaning more than eight inches from the vertical position, (measured at the uppermost section of post), arms and shafts out of alignment, shall be straightened, or replaced if they cannot be straightened. All foreign material shall be removed from lamppost under these items. All struck lampposts shall be disassembled and all parts not damaged shall be cleaned and returned to City stock. Parts kept in Contractor’s yard shall be credited to the inventory of City equipment in the Contractor’s possession.
