STANDARD PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS. I. In the performance of their duties, all Employees will conduct themselves in a manner that is professional, courteous and conducive to a professional atmosphere in their class/laboratory, employing unit and the University. II. Employee Responsibilities A. Employees are responsible for following University policies and procedures regarding instruction. B. Employees are responsible for carrying out their duties under the direction, and according to the requirements, of assigned faculty of record or supervisors. C. Employees shall be responsible, under faculty of record or supervisor direction, for maintaining the integrity of scholarship, grades and professional standards in instruction. ▇. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ who are assigned responsibility for determining course/laboratory content will ensure that such content is consistent with course descriptions approved by the Academic Council. E. Where applicable, Employees are responsible for clearly stating course objectives, methods of determining final course grades and any special attendance requirements that differ from the unit’s attendance requirements at the beginning of the semester, and for specifying the above in course syllabi. F. Assignments and examinations are expected to be returned to students with reasonable promptness. Final exams and grading records shall be retained for at least one semester to permit review by students. G. Employees are expected to meet their classes at the regularly scheduled times and to notify the supervising faculty or employing unit in advance if they are to be absent. Employees are encouraged to assist the employing unit in finding appropriate coverage for the missed classes. H. Employees are expected to schedule and keep a reasonable number of office hours or to make appointments available for individual student or small group conferences. These times should be convenient for both students and Employees. Employees shall make reasonable efforts to respond to work-related e-mail communications. I. Grades shall be assigned based on the methods described in the course syllabus and turned in to meet employing unit deadlines. Under normal circumstances, employing unit deadlines for final grades will be communicated 30 days in advance.
STANDARD PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS. You are responsible for conducting yourself in a professional manner and following university policies regarding instruction. You must work under the direction and with the guidance of your faculty supervisor. If you are responsible for determining course/laboratory content, this content must be consistent with the official course descriptions, and you must clearly state course objectives, grading systems, and attendance requirements in the syllabus. You are responsible for grading assignments and examinations with reasonable promptness, and for retaining final exams and grading records for at least one semester to allow for review by students. You must be present for your class at its regularly scheduled times and you should notify your supervising faculty advance if you will be absent. You are expected to keep office hours or make appointments available for individual or small group student meetings at times that are convenient for both yourself and students. You must also make reasonable efforts to respond to work-related emails. Grades must be assigned according to the course syllabus and turned in by the deadlines set by your employing units. Employing units must communicate to you any new policies or changes in policy, standards of conduct, and penalties for violating these policies.
STANDARD PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS. Security Officers shall demonstrate the highest standards of personal and professional conduct and are expected to adhere to standards of behavior, which reflect in a positive manner for their company and the County; and shall be proactive in the performance of the position and their duties. The standard performance requirements of all Security Officers assigned to this Agreement are as follows: A. All Security Officers used to perform duties of this Agreement shall report for Work in good condition with sufficient rest to carry out their entire shift. No use of alcohol is permitted for eight (8) hours prior to work shift and at no time will Security Officers be under the influence of alcohol, illegal substances, or legal/prescribed substances that impair or may impair their ability to execute security services. Security Officers who are ill, injured, or in any other way impaired shall not be allowed to remain on the site. B. No Security Officer shall report for duty with less than eight (8) hours off from having worked a previous shift, unless such reporting is necessitated by an emergency. No officer will work more than eighteen consecutive (18) hours. Normally, no Security Officers shall be allowed to work more than twelve (12) consecutive hours. Only the County can declare an emergency and authorize Contractor to hold their Security Officers beyond the twelve (12) hour requirement. C. No Security Officers shall be assigned to work a post or work site by themselves without first having been trained, tested and successfully demonstrating a comprehensive knowledge of the job functions and responsibilities for that post or work site. D. All Security Officers assigned to perform duties of this Agreement shall report for duty in clean, well fitting, and complete uniform as specified by Contractor and County. County reserves the right to approve and/or modify the uniform as mutually agreed with the Contractor and/or Behavioral Health Resource Center (BHRC). Security Officers shall not wear any non-uniform clothing items or jewelry that detracts from a professional appearance as judged by the County. Hair (including facial hair) shall be neat and trimmed.
