Standard Data Products. The IT will be responsible for producing CERES Climate Data Records (CDRs) that meet CERES accuracy criteria. These products will be generated, archived, and distributed at the ASDC. Before public release, the quality of these data products will be assessed and Data Quality Summaries written and provided to users. Table 4-1 lists the CERES data products that will be made available to the public. Table 4-2 lists the internal CERES data products that are produced but not made publicly available. The CERES CDRs are dependent on the successful climate-quality calibration of CERES FM5 and NPP VIIRS data. Since CERES data product generation may be dependent on the successful generation of other CERES products, a phased timeline is needed.
