Standard Cabling Best Practices. A. G. To ensure cable management and also strain relief, cables shall be properly dressed using Velcro cable ties. However, cables ties should never be over tightened.
H. On vertical runs, the cables shall be dressed and tied from the bottom up, thus putting minimum strain on the cables.
I. Cables shall not run behind radiators.
