Staffing Assignments. Principals (or designate) will offer teacher assignments by seniority in accordance with the seniority list as outlined in the staffing procedures of the Home Instruction Protocol.
Staffing Assignments. 10.2.1 Prior to completing staffing plans for traveling positions, the Assistant Superintendent(s) or designee shall distribute the proposed staffing plan to the traveling teachers/specialists in those units.
10.2.2 Traveling teachers/specialists may indicate their preferences for assignment to positions on the proposed staffing plans.
10.2.3 The Assistant Superintendent(s) or designee shall develop proposed staffing plans taking into consideration the preferences of traveling teachers/specialists, and distribute a copy of the proposed plan to each traveling teacher/specialist.
10.2.4 The Assistant Superintendent(s) or designee shall meet with all traveling teachers/specialists within those units to review the proposed assignments.
10.2.5 Prior to the close of the school year, the unit manager shall distribute to each current traveling teacher/specialist the expected assignment for the following school year.
10.2.6 If the traveling teachers/specialists disagrees with the expected assignment for the following year, the unit member shall request a meeting with the unit administrator to discuss the assignment. If satisfactory resolution is not achieved, the unit member shall be granted, upon request, a personal meeting with the Superintendent or his/her designee. The Superintendent or his/her designee shall make the final decision and his/her decision shall be submitted in writing to the unit member and the immediate supervisor involved.
10.2.7 If during the summer months there is any change required in the expected assignment of traveling teachers/specialists, notice shall be made to the unit member as quickly as possible. The unit manager and the unit member shall develop an alternate assignment schedule from existing vacancies.
Staffing Assignments. 8.4.1 In the spring of each year, the District will consult with the Association regarding the proposed staffing assignments prior to sending tentative assignments to teachers.

c. SMMUSD and the Malibu Transition Team shall work with labor partners to determine whether employee assignments for specialized departments, such as special education, can be identified at an earlier date.
d. SMMUSD and Malibu Transition Team members will hold meetings in each school where employees may be impacted, providing employees with information and an opportunity to ask questions.
e. SMMUSD shall keep ▇▇▇▇▇▇ informed about labor discussions during the Transition Period that may affect or relate to school district separation.
Staffing Assignments. 2.2.1 Staffing assignments for courses beyond the normal load shall be made according to the Faculty Qualifications List, AACSB Standards, and the Master Agreement.
Staffing Assignments. A. Each administrator shall be notified of all personnel being considered for assignment or reassignment to his/her building or department.
B. Notification shall be made to the administrator's office, or to the summer vacation address or phone number which the administrator shall file with Human Resource Services.
C. Each administrator shall be given the opportunity to make recommendations concerning such assignments. Such recommendations shall include but not be limited to program needs, affirmative action, if allowed by law, and other factors.
D. Each administrator shall, with the approval of Human Resource Services, designate the grade level or subject area assignment of each member of his/her staff.
E. The final decision concerning assignments and reassignments shall rest with the Board.

Staffing Assignments. Section 8.1. The emergency and nonemergency dispatching of Fire Department personnel shall be performed by a central dispatch service. The Fire Department employees may be assigned and expected to place paging devices in their homes as part of the call-back system to be used. Employees may, but shall not be required to, carry these paging devices with them when they leave their homes during off- duty hours.
Staffing Assignments. Classes confirmed in the spring shall be assigned according to seniority no later than the second week of June for the fall semester. Additional class assignments will be made at least two weeks before the beginning of each semester. Staff members will then immediately be notified in writing of their class assignments, schedule for required staff meetings, required training workshops, and special project assignments, if any. When it is necessary to reduce the number of ECFE teachers, the release shall be in seniority order. The district may release a teacher out of seniority order for the purpose of protecting the integrity of the program. In such cases, any teacher who is laid off out of order may grieve the matter.
Staffing Assignments. Contractor shall use reasonable efforts to make available Contractor staffing for the entire life of the project to which he or she has been assigned. The Contractor shall not make any changes to staffing assignments during the term of each applicable project without prior written approval of the State. If the Contractor prematurely removes assigned Contractor staffing for any reason other than those stated below without the State’s approval, the Contractor agrees to provide the first thirty (30) days of a replacement resource with equivalent skill level at no additional charge. The State acknowledges that Contractor staffing resources may become unavailable due to termination of employment for any reason, through disability or death, illness, or through leave of absence such as FMLA or military duty, for example. In such circumstance, the Contractor shall promptly notify the State in writing of the impending or actual departure of any Contractor staffing resource and of the qualifications and identity of proposed replacement. A replacement Contractor staffing resource shall have comparable or greater skills than the Contractor staffing resource being replaced and shall be subject to the reference and background checks described above. The State has the right to reasonably disapprove of any proposed replacement.
