SRC Clause Samples
The SRC clause, often referring to a "Source" or "Source of Rights and Content" provision, defines the origin or ownership of materials, data, or intellectual property used or provided under an agreement. In practice, this clause specifies whether content is original, licensed, or obtained from third parties, and may require the party providing the content to guarantee its lawful origin and the right to use it. Its core function is to clarify the provenance of materials, thereby reducing the risk of infringement disputes and ensuring that all parties understand their rights and obligations regarding the use of such content.
