Sporting activities. The employer shall give favourable consideration to granting discretionary leave to an employee who is absent from work to attend to a dependant of the employee.
Sporting activities. Members from the Affiliate Club are freely invited to try out BSC activities, but should such activities become frequent then a person would be expected to take up full membership of the BSC.
6.1. It is not intended for the Affiliate Club to use the BSC rescue boat in the normal course of events due to training, insurance and maintenance issues.
6.2. BSC recognises that training is a fundamental part the Affiliate Club objective. The Affiliate Club will be responsible for ensuring that all training sessions are supervised in line with the Affiliate Club Constitution, Training Policy and control measures identified by the Affiliate Club risk assessment for use of the Affiliate Club premises. All manner of muscular and skeletal injuries, bruises, scrapes, cuts, strains, sprains, leg cramps, dislocations, or bone injuries; - Head, facial, dental and neurological injuries such as concussions and traumatic brain injuries (TBI); - An increased load on the heart that may result in dizziness, shortness of breath, fainting, chest pain or discomfort, nausea, and in extreme circumstances may result in a heart attack; - Being struck with projectiles; - Falling against, impacting, entanglement or impairment on apparatus, equipment or other natural or man made obstacles (visible or not visible), or against the ground, floors, walls or other surfaces; - Contact with participants, officials, spectators, or other people or sustaining injuries arising from their actions; - My participation and/or use of equipment beyond my own skills and abilities; and - The use, misuse, failure or malfunctioning of equipment. I freely accept and fully assume all such risks, dangers and hazards and the possibility of personal injury, death, property damage or loss, resulting therefrom. In this document, universal masking means that face coverings are required for all participants, regardless of vaccination status. • The use of cohorts within the team limits the potential for team-wide transmission in the event of an exposure or outbreak and should be considered for practices, warm-ups, and when traveling. • Athletes, coaches, athletic trainers and other support personnel should maintain at least 6 feet apart to the degree possible when not playing (e.g., on the bench, in the dugout, on the sideline, in locker rooms and other similar situations).
