Split Site Differential Clause Samples
A Split Site Differential clause establishes additional compensation for employees who are required to work at multiple locations or sites as part of their job duties. Typically, this clause outlines the criteria for eligibility, the amount or percentage of the differential pay, and the process for claiming it, such as when an employee regularly splits time between two offices or works at a remote site in addition to their primary location. The core function of this clause is to fairly compensate employees for the inconvenience, extra travel, or logistical challenges associated with working at more than one site, thereby promoting equity and addressing potential employee concerns about multi-site assignments.
