Common use of SPECTACLE ALLOWANCE Clause in Contracts

SPECTACLE ALLOWANCE. Where an employee during the course of employment suffers loss or damage to spectacles caused by fire, molten metal or corrosive substances such employee will be reimbursed by the employer the cost of the loss or damage sustained. This subclause will not apply when an employee is entitled to Workers’ Compensation in respect to the damage.
