Specific Section. The written disciplinary action shall be specific and shall cite the appropriate sections of rules and regulations and/or appropriate law or ordinance which the member is alleged to have violated, if applicable. Nothing shall preclude the Sheriff from disciplining or discharging an employee for an offense even if not provided for under the rules and regulations and/or law or ordinance as long as it is for just cause.
