SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE. QUALIFICATIONS - ESSENTIAL: • Qualified Radiation Therapist with current registration from AHPRA • Eligible for Radiation Users Licence with the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services. • Demonstrated sound technical skills and have a sound understanding of Radiotherapy Practice and Principles with experience and specific knowledge • Experience in Simulation, Planning and Treatment. • Willing to adapt changes/ take on challenges. EXPERIENCE and/or SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE - ESSENTIAL: • Demonstrated sound technical skills and have a thorough understanding of Radiotherapy Practice and Principles, within the scope of experience. • Evidence of ongoing professional development. DESIRABLE: • Proven ability to use and teach complex Radiation Therapy planning and treatment principles. • Interest in ongoing professional development. • Interest in participating in Department technical and procedural activities • Further education or training in clinical supervision/teaching • Experience presenting/authoring conference presentations or professional publications
SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE. QUALIFICATIONS - ESSENTIAL: • Formal professionallyrecognised qualifications in relevant health field (i.e. Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Clinical Psychology) • Relevant professional registration • Current Victorian Drivers Licence • Demonstrated significant clinical mental health experience particularly in acute community settings • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing teams supporting complex and acute mental health DESIRABLE: • Completion of a post graduate qualification in leadership or management EXPERIENCE and/or SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE– ESSENTIAL: • Leadership and operational management skills working in a complexhealth environment with multiple funding streams. • Proven ability to lead, manage and motivate staff • Ability to analyse and interpretdata • Demonstrated robust communication and interpersonal skills • Effective in decision making and evidence of this • Conflict management skills • Proven ability to deliver negotiatedoutcomes • Demonstrated abilityto lead and sustain system change
SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE. QUALIFICATIONS - ESSENTIAL: • Tertiary qualification recognised by the Australian and New Zealand Society of Nuclear Medicine –e.g. Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Radiations (RMIT) • As required under the Radiation Act 2005 the Nuclear Medicine Technologist must hold current registration with AHPRA and a Victorian Government, Department of Health, Radiation ‘Use Licence’ • Completion of an approved course in CT (Diagnostic CT) and recognised on Victorian Radiation Use Licence EXPERIENCE and/
SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE.
