Spareboards. 34.1 This will confirm that the parties agree to establish spareboards at Vancouver, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Montreal and Toronto and other locations as mutually agreed. In this respect, it was agreed overtime would be allocated to the spareboards. However, when it could be shown that no additional cost would be incurred the parties could come to other arrangements.
Spareboards. A. Spareboards - North Bay and ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ shall consist of seven (7) essential positions and. Cochrane will consist of three (3) essential positions at Cochrane. B. The spareboard in Cochrane shall protect assignments in Cochrane and all points north and west of Cochrane. C. Bi-monthly mileage checks will be used to determine the requirements of the next half-month subject to any ad-hoc agreement between the Company and the Union regarding future requirements.

Note: see Appendix K 21.02 Employees who bid the spareboard assignment must be qualified to perform the work of all the classifications protected by that spareboard. 21.03 Spareboard employees will be paid for all time worked at the rate of the classification in which the work is performed. 21.04 Unless otherwise specified in this spareboard agreement, spareboard employees are subject to the provisions of the collective agreement. 21.05 Spareboard assignments will be provided two consecutive assigned rest days as locally arranged. 21.06 The work week for spareboard positions will start at 00:01 the first day following the established rest days. 21.07 Spareboard employees will be entitled to overtime only upon accumulating forty (40) hours at straight time rates during their spareboard work week. 21.08 While assigned to the spareboard, employees will be guaranteed wages of forty (40) hours for each spareboard work week. 21.09 In cases where the employee is assigned to the spareboard for only a portion of the guarantee period, the guarantee will be prorated based on the number of days so assigned. 21.10 The spareboard guarantee will be reduced by eight (8) hours for each calendar day or portion thereof that an employee is not available for duty (booked off). Book offs are subject to the approval of management. 21.11 The spareboard guarantee will be reduced by the equivalent number of hours worked on the assignment for which a Spareboard employee missed call. 21.12 Spareboard employees will be called on a first in, first out basis. 21.13 Employees will be called by telephone at their regular telephone number a minimum of two (2) hours prior to the time required to report for duty. 21.14 Calls of less than two (2) hours may be made in cases of emergency or unforeseen circumstances where a two-hour call is not possible. However, in such circumstances, should an employee not be able to respond to a call of less than two (2) hours notice, the employee will not have their spareboard guarantee reduced for not responding to call in less than two (2) hours. 21.15 A qualified employee standing first out on the spareboard and available at straight time rates who is not called in the proper turn will be entitled to two (2) hours pay at the applicable rate of pay and will remain first out on the spareboard. Spareboards. Spare boards will be maintained and spare board engineer’s work regulated to forty (40)-fifty (50) hours per week. When additional men are required, they will be filled by senior men requesting the position. If the position is not filled. the junior man on the auxiliary board will be placed on the spare board. Spareboard or auxiliary spareboard employees worked more than ten straight time, eight hour shifts in yard service in a checking period shall be paid one and one half times the basic straight time rate for such excess work, subject to Article 29.3.

  • Loading RPMG shall schedule the loading and shipping of all outbound corn oil purchased hereunder, but all labor and equipment necessary to load trucks and rail cars and other associated costs shall be supplied and borne by Producer without charge to RPMG. Producer shall handle the corn oil in a good and workmanlike manner in accordance with RPMG’s written requirements and normal industry practice. Producer shall maintain the truck and rail loading facilities in safe operating condition in accordance with normal industry standards and shall visually inspect all trucks and rail cars to assure (i) cleanliness so as to avoid contamination, and (ii) that such trucks and railcars are in a condition suitable for transporting the corn oil. RPMG and RPMG’s agents shall have adequate access to the Ethanol Facility to load Producer’s corn oil on an industry standard basis that allows RPMG to economically market Producer’s corn oil. RPMG’s employees shall follow all reasonable safety rules and procedures promulgated by Producer and provided to RPMG reasonably in advance and in writing. Producer shall supply product description tags, certificates of analysis, bills of lading and/or material safety data sheets that are applicable to all shipments. In the event that Producer fails to provide the labor, equipment and facilities necessary to meet RPMG’s loading schedule, Producer shall be responsible for all costs and expenses, including without limitation actual demurrage and wait time, incurred by RPMG resulting from or arising in connection with Producer’s failure to do so.

  • Crane Erection & Jumping (a) Cranes and man/material hoists may be erected, altered, climbed and dismantled during times when ordinary production works are in progress subject to the work being done in full compliance with a relevant operational safety zone (OSZ) plan which has been developed specifically for that operation with consideration to overall site safety. (b) The crane crew for each tower crane (Crane Crew) must consist of the following: (i) crane driver; and (ii) three (3) dogmen. (c) In addition to the appropriate tickets held by the crane driver and the dogmen, the following high risk licences must be held amongst the Crane Crew: (i) rigging; and (ii) material handling. (d) Where a Project consists of a single Crane Crew, the Employer should endeavour to ensure another member of the Crane Crew holds a crane driver licence.

  • Access Toll Connecting Trunk Group Architecture 9.2.1 If WCS chooses to subtend a Verizon access Tandem, WCS’s NPA/NXX must be assigned by WCS to subtend the same Verizon access Tandem that a Verizon NPA/NXX serving the same Rate Center Area subtends as identified in the LERG. 9.2.2 WCS shall establish Access Toll Connecting Trunks pursuant to applicable access Tariffs by which it will provide Switched Exchange Access Services to Interexchange Carriers to enable such Interexchange Carriers to originate and terminate traffic to and from WCS’s Customers. 9.2.3 The Access Toll Connecting Trunks shall be two-way trunks. Such trunks shall connect the End Office WCS utilizes to provide Telephone Exchange Service and Switched Exchange Access to its Customers in a given LATA to the access Tandem(s) Verizon utilizes to provide Exchange Access in such LATA. 9.2.4 Access Toll Connecting Trunks shall be used solely for the transmission and routing of Exchange Access to allow WCS’s Customers to connect to or be connected to the interexchange trunks of any Interexchange Carrier which is connected to a Verizon access Tandem.
