SOW EFFECTIVE DATE Clause Samples

The SOW Effective Date clause establishes the specific date on which a Statement of Work (SOW) becomes legally binding and enforceable between the parties. Typically, this date is either explicitly stated within the SOW or determined by the date of the last required signature. By clearly defining when the obligations and deliverables outlined in the SOW commence, this clause ensures both parties have a mutual understanding of when their responsibilities begin, thereby preventing disputes over the timing of contractual duties.
