Sourcing statement Clause Samples

A sourcing statement is a clause that identifies the origin or source of materials, products, or information referenced in a contract or document. It typically specifies where goods are procured from, such as particular suppliers, countries, or production facilities, and may require the party to disclose or certify the source upon request. The core function of a sourcing statement is to ensure transparency and traceability in the supply chain, helping parties manage compliance, ethical sourcing, or quality assurance concerns.
